Xiao’s Trading Limited, is looking to employ two Chinese cooks for our Chinese food factory based in Wellington. The Chinese cooks we are looking for will work 40 hours per week and be paid $29.66 per hour. You will be expected to work in a busy environment but have to be presentable, reliable and able to deliver under pressure whiles maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation. The main tasks are as follows:

1. Examining food quality before starting to cook
2. Preparing and cooking the Chinese cuisine based on the techniques and procedures specified by adding materials such as spices and preservatives to food
3. Seasoning and portioning Chinese cuisine as specified
4. Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities before packaging
5. Helping plan menu for Chinese dishes and estimate food requirements if required
6. Giving train to any other kitchen staff or apprentices if required
