We’re now looking for a Clinical Lead to oversee and grow our Pain service in Wellington, playing a key role in shaping high-quality, person-centred care across the region.

As our Clinical Lead - Pain, you’ll combine hands-on clinical work, shaping service delivery, mentoring a high-performing team, and driving best-practice care for clients navigating complex pain journeys.

You’ll form part of the regional Senior Leadership Team, working alongside the Team Lead and Regional Manager to champion excellence, uphold our values, and foster a strong, positive team culture.

A day in the life
  • Collaborate with the Pain Service Lead, other Clinical Leads across the country, and the Regional Manager to ensure delivery of a high-quality and efficient Pain Management Service
  • This is not a people management role; however, you will provide clinical support and mentoring for the region\'s multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, dieticians, and social workers
  • Deliver a memorable customer experience with your knack for providing solutions for rehabilitation services
  • Managing a clinical caseload while ensuring high-quality and integrated service delivery across the team
  • Build positive relationships with all stakeholders
  • Collaborate and deliver new projects and initiatives
The successful candidate will have
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Psychology (or equivalent)
  • Annual practising certification as a registered health professional
  • Fluent communication skills - you will be collaborating with a whole team!
  • Five plus years’ experience in a clinical role - leadership skills a HUGE plus
  • Experience specifically working in chronic pain rehabilitation and management
  • ACC operational, medical and policy knowledge related to rehabilitation
  • Must hold a valid driver\'s license, as this role will require travel between the Wellington sites
