Global Vision Recruitment on behalf of Lead Pool Pty Ltd Date Posted: 15 June 2026 Position: Engineering Technologist Salary: $80,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation Hours: 38 hours per week Mode: Full-time Location: 29 Hill Street Pakenham VIC 3810 Experience required: Minimum 1 year experience in relevant role About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technologist to support the analysis, modification, testing, and implementation of engineering technologies across our projects. In this role, you will work closely with engineers, project managers, and technical teams to ensure engineering systems and technologies are efficiently applied, optimised, and compliant with Australian standards and project requirements. You will play a key role in evaluating existing engineering systems, improving operational performance, and supporting the successful delivery of engineering projects from design through to commissioning and implementation. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: • Analyse and assess electrical supply systems, procurement workflows, and installed electrical solutions to identify inefficiencies, technical issues, and opportunities for improved system performance and sustainability outcomes • Support the implementation and optimisation of electrical and technical supply solutions across client projects, ensuring systems are efficient, compliant, and aligned with operational requirements • Assist in evaluating electrical products, components, and integrated supply solutions to ensure suitability for installation, performance reliability, and compliance with project specifications • Interpret technical specifications, supplier documentation, product datasheets, and system layouts to support accurate selection, installation, and integration of electrical solutions • Support testing, inspection, and commissioning of electrical systems and supply installations to ensure functionality, safety compliance, and operational readiness • Collaborate with engineers, procurement teams, suppliers, and clients to streamline technical requirements and ensure correct application of electrical and related supply products • Contribute to the improvement of procurement and supply processes by identifying technical inefficiencies and recommending more sustainable, cost-effective electrical solutions • Assist in integrating eco-friendly and energy-efficient electrical technologies that align with Lead Pool’s sustainability-driven procurement model • Conduct site inspections and technical evaluations of installed electrical systems and supplied products to ensure compliance with Australian Standards and client expectations • Prepare technical documentation including commissioning reports, system performance evaluations, compliance checks, and product suitability assessments • Provide technical input into supplier selection and product evaluation to ensure quality, reliability, and sustainability standards are met • Support continuous improvement of electrical system integration processes, focusing on reducing waste, improving efficiency, and enhancing lifecycle performance of installed solutions Qualifications: • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineer or related discipline • Minimum 1 year experience in relevant role Other Skills & Requirements: • Strong understanding of engineering principles, systems analysis, and technical problem-solving • Experience in engineering project support, testing, or commissioning activities • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications • Familiarity with Australian Standards and workplace safety requirements • Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project environments • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
