Position: Store Manager Key Responsibilities- Plan, organise, direct and control the daily operations of the food outlet to ensure efficient, safe and profitable operations.
- Supervise the preparation, packaging and timely service of food and beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, presentation and service standards are maintained.
- Recruit, train, supervise team members as per standards set by company and condinate meetings
- Prepare staff rosters, allocate duties and monitor employee performance
- Monitor daily sales, labour costs and operating expenses and implement measures to improve productivity and profitability.
- Manage inventory levels, stock ordering, stock rotation and storage of food, beverages, packaging materials and cleaning supplies.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products and minimise stock shortages.
- Ensure compliance with New Zealand food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety, employment and licensing requirements.
- Monitor cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas, customer service areas and equipment.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints and feedback promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor cash handling procedures, reconcile daily takings and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Maintain records relating to stock, sales, staff attendance, payroll and operational performance.
- Coordinate with staff to ensure efficient preparation and delivery of customer orders during peak trading periods.
- Implement procedures to minimise food wastage, improve stock control and maximise operational efficiency.
- Assist in planning promotional campaigns, pricing strategies and product offerings to increase sales.
- Ensure equipment is maintained in good working condition and arrange repairs or servicing when required.
- Monitor compliance with standard operating procedures and implement corrective actions where required.
- Perform other managerial and administrative duties as reasonably required
Qualification or Experience:
Level 5 qualification or 2 years of relevant experience
