Carrington Golf Resort and Winery situated in Karikari Peninsula of Far North district of NZ, our Resort complex has lodges and villas, restaurants, bars, winery and some conference facilities.We are currently seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our busy team. With flexible hours available, you must be able to work weekends and Public Holidays. The successful applicants will have high cleaning standards, strong work ethics, a willingness to learn new systems & a positive, can-do attitude. Previous experience is a must. You must be physically fit.
We are not able to provide New Zealand sponsorship for this role. Although it may suit a Seasonal Working Holiday person with experience.
Commencing 1st week October 2025 through to end of April 2025.
Key responsibilities of this role is to include the supervision of a team of Housekeepers.
Allocating work and ensuring that standards and procedures are being followed.
• Responsible for housekeeping maintenance and ensuring that all aspects of the role are executed to the highest quality standard.• Cleaning all rooms, public areas, offices so as to maintain an impeccable standard of cleanliness and presentation as per instructed by our Executive Housekeeper.• Responsible for maintaining all cleaning equipment and notify the Executive Housekeeper of any faults.• To ensure the minibar, guest supplies and advertising material in bedrooms and bathrooms are replenished, achieving the correct standards for the room type as per the Procedures Manual.• To be aware of the action to be taken in the event of an emergency in accordance with procedures laid down by Company and Resort Policy.• Assist with regular equipment stocktaking.• To carry out the duties of other housekeeping staff members as required by business demands.• Take initiative to ensure that interactions with our guests are positive and productive.• Work together with colleagues and management to meet the goals of Carrington Resort.• Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests.• Take all practicable steps to ensure and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
