An established environmental services organisation is seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager – Asbestos to lead its accredited laboratory operations. This is a senior, hands-on role combining people leadership, technical oversight, and quality management in a high-performing asbestos analysis environment.
Role description:The Laboratory Manager is responsible for managing laboratory staff, overseeing and carrying out asbestos analysis, maintaining IANZ 17025 accreditation, and acting as a Key Technical Person. The role ensures accurate, efficient sample turnaround while leading continuous improvement, audit readiness, and strong client service delivery.
