Were looking for a dynamic, hands-on leader to take the reins of our Lunn Avenue, Ellerslie store - someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, inspires their team to deliver outstanding customer experiences, and is passionate about pet health and wellbeing.

About the role

You and your team, will provide advice and education for pet owners, to help their dogs and cats eat their way to better health, through a consistent level of outstanding service.

This is a full-time leadership role working 40 hours over 5 days, to include one weekend day. You will be responsible for overseeing all store operations, including staff management, stock control, client case management, business development along with the day-to-day running of a retail operation. About you

You will lead, inspire and make a difference. In addition to being a hands-on leader, you will motivate your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced, pet-focused environment. You may already have previous retail experience at Store Management level and looking for a change.

You will have an active interest in raw feeding for cats and dogs, and a passion to engage with people. Full training in all aspects of raw feeding for cats and dogs will be provided.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Drive store performance and operations

• Lead, coach and motivate your team

• Engage with customers & share your passion for animal health and well-being

• Have an excellent customer service focus and strong work ethic

• Have no issues with lifting heavy boxes (up to 20kgs), keeping our freezers and shelves stocked

• Have the ability to travel within Auckland on occasion

What youll bring:

• Proven leadership & people management skills

• Strong customer focus & business acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset

• Passion for pets (raw feeding experience a bonus

• A veterinary or other animal-related qualification or background (preferred but not essential)
