We are looking for 4 individuals to join our store as shop assistants located in Saint Johns, Auckland. These are permanent full-time positions.
Requirements:
Flexible in working long hours when required which may include on call starts, early morning starts, and late finishes, working on weekends and public holidays. Availibility for split shifts is must.
Job Duties
Open and close the store, including cash handling, processing customer transactions, and completing end-of-day reconciliation.
Provide exceptional customer service by identifying customer needs, advising on product pricing, features, usage, care, and availability, and assisting with customer enquiries and issue resolution.
Receive, inspect, label, price, and process incoming stock, ensuring inventory records are maintained accurately and stock is available for sale in a timely manner.
Assist with stock ordering,inventory control, stock rotation, stocktakes, and the processing of returns.
Maintain well-stocked, attractive, and organized product displays, ensuring promotional materials and special offers are implemented effectively.
Prepare, pack, and dispatch customer orders, and assist with loading and unloading deliveries and general stockroom operations.
Communicate with customers, suppliers, transport providers, and other business contacts regarding stock, deliveries, and operational requirements.
Support the management in the day-to-day operation of the business and implementing operational improvements when required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional store environment while complying with all Health & Safety, Food Safety, and company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties reasonably required to support the efficient operation of the business.
Pay rate: $25 - $30per hour
Working Hours for all positions: Minimum 30 hours per week and Maximum 40 hours per week.
