Progressive Meats are looking for staff who are a cut above the rest! We are a leading edge processor of Lamb and Beef in the sunny Hawke's Bay.
Full-time permanent Slaughterers are needed for 2026 and beyond.
Just bring your positive, proactive attitude and you will go far. We are keen to provide you with the skills and experience to go far in the butchery trade.

Tasks and responsibilities of a Slaughterer include:
We currently have opportunities for the right candidates to walk into roles available across our departments in Lamb/Beef Slaughter.
Department 10-hour Shift start times Monday to Friday are:
Weekend availability required over Spring/Summer and Autumn.
There is a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours of work per week.

The pay scale is: $26.50 - $29.66 per hour
