Global Vision Recruitment on behalf of Render Creations & Concept Date Posted: 27th May 2026 Position: Solid Plasterer Salary: $77,000 to $80,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation Mode: Full-time Hours: 38 hours per week Location: 1492 Frankston - Flinders Rd, Tyabb VIC 3913 Experience required: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience Render Creations & Concepts is seeking a skilled and motivated Solid Plasterer to join our growing team. Based in VIC, we specialise in high-quality rendering, plastering, and decorative finishing solutions for residential and commercial projects. Due to continued business growth and increasing project demand, we are looking for an experienced Solid Plasterer who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to): • Clean and prepare surfaces by removing old plaster, dust, and debris to ensure proper adhesion of new plaster materials. • Accurately mix plaster, cement, and other materials according to specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. • Apply base coats, intermediate coats, and finish coats of plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, ensuring even thickness and smooth finishes. • Measure, cut, and install plasterboard panels to walls and ceilings, ensuring precise alignment and secure attachment. • Prepare and install corner beads, panel mouldings, ceiling centres, and other decorative plaster fittings with precision. • Cover joints, nail holes, and other imperfections with plaster or sealing compounds, and smooth these areas using wet brushes and sandpaper. • Create decorative textures and finishes in the final plaster coat to meet designspecifications and aesthetic requirements. • Ensure all corners, angles, and wall and ceiling surfaces are plumb and straight by using tools and techniques to align and level plaster materials accurately. • Apply and finish acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials that are bonded with plaster or similar substances to enhance building safety and comfort. • Continuously monitor the quality of work, ensuring all surfaces are plumb, level, and free from defects. • Regularly clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition, prolonging their lifespan and ensuring high-quality workmanship. • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members and occupants of the building. • Work effectively with other tradespeople and team members to coordinate tasks and ensure the timely completion of projects. • Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during the plastering process, applying creative solutions to ensure high-quality results. Qualifications: • Certificate III in Solid Plastering (Preferred but not mandatory) • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience Other Skills and Requirements: • Extensive knowledge of plastering techniques, materials, and tools. • Ability to mix and apply various types of plaster accurately. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely. • Physical stamina and dexterity to handle plastering tasks effectively.
