Location: Moorabbin, VIC, 3189 Full-Time: Immediate start Job Title: Systems Analyst Salary range: $79,500 - $90,000 Job Closure date: 30 days About the Role Our client, a forward-thinking organisation operating within the digital solutions and data insights sector, is seeking a skilled Systems Analyst to join their team. You will be at the forefront of analysing business processes, optimising system functionality, and delivering solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Process Analysis • Partner with key stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate detailed business requirements, ensuring alignment with both user needs and strategic objectives. • Conduct thorough investigations of existing business processes, procedures, and work practices to identify areas for improvement and innovation. Optimisation & Solution Design • Identify, evaluate, and address system and process inefficiencies, recommending optimal practices that enhance system functionality, behaviour, and overall performance. • Develop comprehensive functional specifications and clear system specifications for developers, utilising data and process modelling techniques to ensure robust design. Project & Implementation Management • Apply project management methodologies to develop detailed project plans, accurately cost projects, manage resources, and oversee the full project lifecycle. • Take ownership of solution deployment, including creating and executing system test plans to guarantee system quality, integrity, and readiness for production. Training, Documentation & Support • Produce high-quality user documentation and training materials and deliver formal training sessions to ensure effective system adoption. • Serve as the central reference point for system-related decisions, providing expert guidance and information throughout the project decision-making process. What We’re Looking For • At least 2 years of proven experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role, with strong capabilities in requirements gathering, process modelling, and functional specification development. • Solid understanding of project management principles and experience managing projects from conception to implementation. • Demonstrated ability to develop test plans, deliver user training, and create detailed technical documentation. • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a solutions-focused mindset. • Must have the relevant qualification.
