About the Role:
· In this remote based role you will be reporting into the Commercial Development Manager and working alongside a fun, supportive national team. You will ideally be based in the Auckland region due to the focus and opportunities, while also looking after Waikato, Northern Regions.
This role is two-fold: -
· Firstly, managing relationships and servicing key retail merchants - an easy task given that you have the support of world class, locally made, quality products behind you! You will be the face of Aerofast to customers in these channels and of course you will be responsible for the implementation/execution of sales, marketing and new product development plans including the day-to-day admin side of stock orders, merchandising etc. A structured and planned approach to customer and territory management is required.
· Secondly this role has the fun task to proactively identify profitable new sales opportunities. The world is your oyster finding new business through a planned and systematic approach researching and targeting large companies and manufacturers, including new sectors that have the potential for growth.

About You:
· You will be an outgoing, pragmatic person who is comfortable creating, building and maintaining relationships with the right level of EQ and practical mindset to become a trusted provider of solutions with a range of existing and new customers.
· You will be both a relationship builder and a hunter with proven results converting customers through a planned and naturally engaging approach.
· Open to previous experience in the retail and sales sectors, attitude and mindset is really the key thing here. You will be driven and naturally curious with the ability to spot opportunities with a genuine passion for what you do. As this role looks after both standard and customised solutions you will be solutions oriented
· You are comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a fun, supportive team. You will therefore be disciplined, with the ability to plan and manage your own time effectively and keep motivated while attending to the admin side of things as well
