Experienced and qualifed Class 5 Truck Drivers are sought to work in our busy Trucking company. Work will usually be driving around the Bay of Plenty Region but can also be outside of this region and around the North and South Island. You will also need to be fit as there will be a lot of lifting involved in this job. As a company we do not tolerate alcohol consumption either whilst driving or prior to driving or any other substance or medication which could affect your driving capabilities and your ability to make rational decisions on the road.
You will be able to show maturity and be able to communicate with a wide variety of people. Must have excellent loading understanding good interpersonal skills and able to work unsupervised.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Applicants should have good references and be a team player. Must have a class 5 license, Dangerous Good Endorsement and Forklift License or have the willingness and ability to obtain one.
The prospective employee may be required to provide a pre-employment drug test and clean police clearance certificate prior to offer of employment being provided.
For these roles we are looking at a minimum of 30 hours of work per week. The minimum payrate for this role is $27.00 and the maximum payrate we are looking at is $35.00.
