Position: 2 Welders
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours of Work :Minimum 30 hours per week
Wage range: 30-35
Skills and Experience Requirements
Two years work exprience (relevant).
No qualification required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Performing welding and fabrication of metal components used in roofing structures, including steel frames, brackets, flashings, and supports
· Reading and interpreting construction drawings, technical plans, and specifications to determine welding requirements
· Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal materials using appropriate tools and welding techniques
· Operating welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding machines in accordance with industry standards
· Inspecting welds to ensure strength, accuracy, and compliance with safety and quality standards
· Repairing and maintaining existing metal roofing structures and components where required
· Collaborating with roofing installers and construction teams to ensure proper fitting and installation of fabricated components
· Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company procedures
· Maintaining welding equipment and ensuring a clean and safe work environment
· Identifying and reporting defects, structural issues, or safety concerns during the fabrication and installation process
