We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to lead our dedicated team in the Wellington region. If you have a strong eye for detail, proven leadership abilities, and a hands-on approach, wed love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of 6+ cleaners to ensure high standards are consistently met.
• Clean and service both commercial and domestic sites while training and supporting staff on the job.
• Clean and maintain apartments as part of regular duties while providing on-the-job training.
• Assist the Executive Housekeeper with daily operations, and take full responsibility in their absence.
• Ensure efficient and fair room allocation to optimise productivity.
• Conduct routine inspections of check-out rooms, occupied spaces, public areas, corridors, and storage rooms.
• Plan and manage staff rosters based on forecasts and operational needs.
• Motivate, train, and guide the cleaning team to deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure all team members follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Monitor and control stock levels; complete monthly stock takes.
• Identify and report any health and safety risks.
• Step in to carry out cleaning duties when staff are unavailable due to leave or illness.
• Support and collaborate with management on any additional reasonable requests.

What Were Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a large team.
• High standards of cleanliness, quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Property Management Systems.
• Comfortable working on the floor alongside the team when required.
• Flexibility to work on a 7-day rotating roster.
• Must hold a full New Zealand drivers licence.
• Based in Wellington or willing to relocate.
