We provide Signals Intelligence and Cyber Security and resilience to organisations of national significance to successfully navigate in an unpredictable world The role As a Network Engineer in our team, you will design, implement and support the organisations large domestic and international multi service networks. Your day-to-day may also see you working on a combination of the below: Troubleshooting Implementation of new networks Working with the architects on the full lifecycle from planning through design, testing, deployment and operation Maintaining and optimising operational networks This opportunity is available to anyone who is looking to be based in Auckland, Wellington or Blenheim, and will see you engaging regularly with key domestic and international stakeholders. This role will require you to be a confident communicator, as well as have strong problem-solving skills, as you will regularly engage with teams and partners to discuss requirements and provide solutions. We are also looking for you to have: Solid networking fundamentals Troubleshooting skills Routing and switching experience Network monitoring and management practices Understanding of modern security practices It would also be useful if you have experience with: Modern service provider and data centre networking, including MPLS and EVPN.
