Te Tūranga | The Role:

Due to transformation within Audit and Assurance we have newly created opportunities available. This is a very exciting time to join our wonderful team and drive meaningful change through innovation and insights.

We are looking for Manager AND Senior Manager level experience within the following capabilities:

• Project, Programme and Portfolio Management
• Financial Crime
• Cyber & Technology and Data risk

Working closely with the business, you will lead audit review teams to manage assignments and initiatives, providing analysis and timely assurance solutions in accordance with established frameworks. You will provide insights on the things that matter for our customers.

Reporting to the Audit Leadership team, you will play a pivotal part in helping shape and deliver on our Audit and Assurance strategy and annual plan.

As a trusted advisor, you will provide commercially sound insights, risk management expertise, and identify opportunities to enhance current process and controls.

You will provide mentoring and coaching to your team to develop best practice audit capability, tools and methodologies.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with confidence and credibility, to influence and engage effectively with stakeholders across the business
• A problem solver, with the ability to see the bigger picture and identify trends
• An understanding of relevant risk/assurance principles and methodologies with the ability to translate complex information to various audiences
• Keen acumen to use Information Technology as a work tool, including the ability to utilise data analytics tools.
• Prior experience in risk/external/internal audit role in large financial institutions or a professional services firm focusing will be preferred and a relevant qualification (e.g. CA, CIA, CISA)
• Experience in Financial Crime and / or Fraud Risk Management or Management and Programme & Portfolio management or Cyber & Technology and Data risk or strong general Audit and Assurance experience.
• Sound understanding of project governance and change management principles.
