Junior Chef

Fishcube is looking for a competent junior Chef to help collaborate with our evolving team. This role blends culinary artistry with hands on food preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in creation and preparation of dishes

- Create a menu from scratch with innovative and exciting ideas - that match our vibe.

- Ensure food is prepared and presented according to high quality standards.

- Adhere to food safety and health regulations at all times.

- Support in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, stock, and workflow efficiency.

- Assist with FOH duties, including coffee preparation and barista tasks during service hours.

What we are looking for:

- Proven experience in a kitchen or culinary environment.

- Has certified experience in food & health safety protocol.

- Strong understanding of food handling & preparation.

- Creativity and problem-solving mindset with a love for culinary innovation.

- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a changing work environment.

- FOH experience including barista skills is highly desirable.

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Experience:

  • culinary: 2 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Basic Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate (Preferred)
