Pipefitter

About the Role:We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team for a range of commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems used for water, steam, gas, and other liquids in construction and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes to required angles and specifications.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and plans.
• Assemble and install pipe systems, valves, and fittings.
• Test installed systems for leaks using pressure gauges or other equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, other trades, and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a pipe fitter or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with welding and pipe threading (advantageous).
• Physically fit and able to work in various environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant trade qualification or certification (preferred but not always required).
• Valid Site Safe or ConstructSafe
