CKR Construction NZ Ltd is looking for 5 Carpenters (full-time) to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be working a minimum of 30 hours per week, primarily working in Otago region, and you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and work sites to identify required materials.• Assembling ladders and scaffolding.• Installing waterproof sheets over eaves.• Securing roofing underlay to roofs with nails and staples.• Aligning the first row of roofing material with the roof edges and fastening it with wire, staples, and nails.• Cutting roofing materials to fit around vents, chimneys, corners, and ridges.• Using cement mortar to fix edge and ridge tiles.• Placing roofing material under pre-fabricated flashing and nailing it down.• Caulking and sealing exposed nail heads to prevent leaks.

About you:

• At least one year of relevant work experience in the same field OR
• NZQCF relevant Level 4 qualification or above; No specific major is required if you have a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Physically fit with a clear criminal record
