Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, service and repair diesel motors/heavy and lightweight vehicles/Agri machines. 
  • Perform accurate diagnostics using scan tools, test drives and inspections on motors and mechanical parts to identify faults.
  • Dismantle engine/mechanical parts and remove faulty components and reassemble with repaired or replaced parts where required.
  • Test all repairs ensuring accuracy.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and safety inspections, including oil changes, checking batteries, tire rotations, bake service alignments, and fluid checks. 
  • Document all findings and recommnedations and keep accurate service records and reports 
  • Collaborate with other technicians and workshop staff
  • Properly handle and care for tools and equipment
  • Collect all necessary information before ordering parts
  • Follow all safety protocol, procedures and manufacturer guidelines
  • Ensure work area is tidy at all times, ensure any oil or spillage is cleaned
  • Provide excellent customer service offering advice and support

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience or level 4 qualification
  • Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Team orientated, reliable and safety focused
  • Good communication skills is a MUST

What youll gain:

  • Full Time  work, Monday to Friday, Possible weekend work
  • Pay: $35 - $45 per hour
  • Minimum of 30 hours per week
