Public Engagement & Events Support Opportunity We have 6 casual opportunities for our Public Engagement and Events Support roles in the Venues & Commercial Operations team at Archives New Zealand and National Library.

Do you share our sense of manaakitanga, have a passion for events and delivering great customer experiences? Do you have interest and experience with AV technology? Are you keen to learn?

Are you available after hours and weekend work? Would you like to join a team committed to delivering experiences that people love? We need you.

Responsibilities We are looking for someone who can: Enthusiastically engage with our customers to understand the purpose of their visit and help them access the resources they need. Work with our customers to understand their needs, provide guidance and calmly troubleshoot issues.

Provide event support across our conference centre, ensuring venue setup, pack down, customer support, and maintenance of venue spaces throughout National Library and Archives New Zealand. Work with AV and digital technologies to help set up and deliver events and experiences.

Requirements To be successful in this role you will need: Enthusiasm and great people skills. Availability for after-hours work during evenings and weekends.

Experience working in a commercial venue hire and retail environment providing excellent customer service. Any experience working with AV technology would be beneficial. Join
