We are looking for two Retail Assistants for our busy store in Wanganui.
The Job duties include
ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the dairy/superette and maintaining a high standard of customer service; attending to customer enquiries, concerns, and complaints regarding goods and services in a professional and timely manner; planning and preparing staff rosters and allocating employees to specific duties, including sales, shelf replenishment, cleaning, and customer assistance; assisting with the recruitment, training, supervision, performance assessment, promotion, and dismissal of staff, and addressing staff grievances when required; providing guidance to staff on the correct handling of difficult customer interactions and more complex sales transactions; inspecting returned, damaged, or unsatisfactory goods and determining the appropriate course of action in accordance with store policy; monitoring stock levels, conducting stocktakes, and ordering replacement stock to maintain adequate inventory; ensuring that goods are correctly priced, labelled, and displayed in an orderly and attractive manner; and ensuring that workplace health and safety, hygiene, and security procedures are consistently implemented and maintained.
You are required to have a high school qualification or atleast 1 year of relevant work experience. You will be gaurenteed a minimum of 30 hours per week and a maximum of 40 hours per week
