Senior Project Manager – Transportation

We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager – Transportation to join our Paeroa team. This is a pivotal role focused on delivering high‑quality consultancy services, driving project excellence, and fostering strong client relationships across the Bay of Plenty region.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead multidisciplinary transportation projects with a strong focus on service excellence and client outcomes.
  • Manage project planning, scoping, risk, and financial performance to ensure timely and profitable delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversee project verification and reviews.
  • Inspire and align project teams to achieve business goals and deliver exceptional results.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Champion health, safety, and wellbeing practices across all project phases.
  • Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across teams.
What You’ll Bring
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ transportation engineering or project management experience in consultancy or a related field.
  • Proven track record in project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Leadership experience and a collaborative, client‑centric mindset.
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience, and adaptability.
  • Current, full drivers license.
