We are looking for an Indian Cook for our Indian Cuisine Takeaway in Auckland Central. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook various dishes, including appetisers, main courses, and desserts, according to established recipes or new creations.
• Plan and design menus and catering to customer preferences or dietary needs
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards regarding taste
• Ordering food supplies and ingredients, managing inventory levels to reduce waste and ensure cost-efficiency.
• Ensure the kitchen complies with food safety and sanitation standards, adhering to all health regulations and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
• Monitor food costs and adjust inventory or
• Work closely with Management to ensure smooth kitchen operations and a seamless
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to address food preparation concerns.

Candidate requirements:

• The applicant must have at least two years of relevant experience
• Experience in cooking Indian cuisine
• Experience in Tandoor and Curry Style Cooking

It's a full-time role with a minimum of 30 hours per week as per a rotating roster between Monday and Sunday.
