Global Vision Recruitment on behalf of Jade Biviano Family Pty Ltd T/A Biviano Direct Date Posted: 25th February 2026 Position: Retail Buyer Salary: $77,000 to 90,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation Hours: 38 hours per week Mode: Full-time Location: Thornbury VIC 3071 Experience required: Minimum one year experience in similar role Jade Biviano Family Pty Ltd T/A Biviano Direct - requires a dedicated Full time Retail Buyer in our team. his role is crucial in selecting and sourcing products that meet our customers' needs and preferences. You will be responsible for ensuring our product range is competitive, high-quality, and aligned with current trends. Duties and responsibilities: • Analysing category wise past sales patterns to anticipate trends in consumer buying pattern of various categories which include hot selling items. • Recommending clearance sales, promotions and offers for better marking strategy. • Giving recommendations to the management for optimum stock levels to minimize holding costs by studying trades and market information and conditions • Planning seasonal buying strategies according to budget • Monitoring and analysing sales data using software. • Designing and implementing pricing of items. • Monitoring the sales promotion, marketing, promotions and keeping up to date with general market conditions. • Liaising and negotiating for bulk discounts, promotions, and supply arrangements with suppliers. • Liaising with management on long-term planning and sales promotions The applicant must have: • Minimum one year experience in similar role and demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment with shifting priorities. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams. • A data-driven approach, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • A passion for continuous improvement and delivering outstanding results. • Proficient in Microsoft word and Excel. • Strong negotiation skills. • Ability to maintain and manage strong relationship with business stakeholders. • A genuine passion and understanding for trends and products. Position – Retail Buyer - Full-time permanent position (weekly 38 hours) Annual Salary -$77,000 to 90,000 plus superannuation Location: Thornbury VIC 3071
