As Butler, you are the primary host and trusted point of contact for our most discerning guests. You are responsible for delivering seamless, intuitive and highly personalised service from pre-arrival through to departure, ensuring every stay is effortless, memorable and unmistakably ROKI.

Position Summary

The Butler is responsible for managing the complete guest experience for our premium accommodation, including the four-bedroom ROKI Suite, the three-bedroom Brunswick Suite, and our Family Suites.

This role combines the art of traditional butler service with modern luxury hospitality. You will coordinate every aspect of a guest's stay, acting as the central liaison between all hotel departments while delivering exceptional service with warmth, discretion and professionalism.

The Butler anticipates guest needs before they arise, builds meaningful relationships, and ensures every detail is executed flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities Pre-Arrival
  • Review guest profiles and preferences before arrival.
  • Coordinate bespoke itineraries with Concierge and Guest Services.
  • Arrange transportation, dining reservations and exclusive local experiences.
  • Liaise with Housekeeping to ensure suites meet ROKI presentation standards.
  • Coordinate welcome amenities and personalised touches.
  • Ensure guest preferences are communicated across all departments.

Arrival Experience
  • Personally welcome guests upon arrival.
  • Conduct private suite check-in where appropriate.
  • Escort guests to their accommodation while introducing the property.
  • Complete luggage handling and room orientation.
  • Introduce suite technology and guest services.
  • Ensure every arrival is relaxed, seamless and personalised.

During the Stay

Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the guest journey.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all guest requests promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinating housekeeping, engineering and maintenance requests.
  • Arranging activities, excursions and transportation.
  • Managing restaurant reservations and special dining experiences.
  • Coordinating in-suite dining and beverage service.
  • Organising celebrations, special occasions and bespoke experiences.
  • Maintaining detailed guest preferences for future visits.
  • Monitoring guest satisfaction throughout each stay.
  • Delivering thoughtful service recoveries when required.

Suite Management
  • Maintain impeccable presentation of all assigned suites.
  • Conduct detailed inspections before guest arrival.
  • Coordinate maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure amenities remain fully replenished.
  • Monitor cleanliness and presentation throughout occupancy.
  • Maintain luxury standards at all times.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Butler, Majordome or Guest Experience Host within a luxury hotel, private residence or resort.
  • Experience within Forbes Five-Star, Leading Hotels of the World, Michelin-recognised or equivalent luxury properties preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Proven ability to anticipate guest needs.
  • Experience coordinating multiple departments simultaneously.
  • High level of emotional intelligence.
